This year I am taking Chemistry 102, in this class we have a lab and a lecture. We do some very interesting labs that need very meticulous procedures. One lab, we had a bunch of mixtures of compounds and we watched as they changed from their original color to whatever color that they change to when they are dropped on the paper. It was amazing to see how the most common thing, regular paper towels, made the colors of the chemicals change completely. For example, one chemical, copper sulfate changed from a cloudy clear color to a red-orange color. Science is amazing.
